How it works
Formula
Tile Area = (W × H) ÷ 144 • Tiles = ceil(Area × (1 + Waste%) ÷ Tile Area) • Boxes = ceil(Tiles ÷ Tiles per Box)
Worked example
A 100 ft² floor with 12×12 in tiles, 10% waste, 10 tiles per box → 110 tiles → 11 boxes.
